This is an example of Pop Art.  Warhol used familiar images from the world of consumer culture -- Brillo boxes, Campbell's Soup cans, and in this case, the familiar Coke bottle.  The element of repetition is very strong in this composition (as it is in the world of advertising), but the eye is led around the painting through variations in color and shape.
