Early Childhood Special Education
This curriculum prepares graduate students to work with young children with disabilities, birth through age 8 (Early Childhood Special Education Licensure code 809). The program is based on an ecological framework through which students will gain knowledge, skills, and dispositions in collaborating with families and other professionals. Students will also gain experience in formal and informal assessments, and evidence-based pedagogical practices.
