Welcome to the Department of Special Education. Our department offers a variety of programs for those interested in working with children with disabilities. If you are an undergraduate student check out our three options-

• Cross Categorical with an emphasis in Learning Disabilities and Behavior Disorders
• Cross Categorical with an emphasis in Cognitive Disabilities
• Early Childhood Education (dual licensure)

We also offer two undergraduate minors in Special Education –

• Minor for Education majors (included Adaptive License)
• Minor for non-education majors

Finally we offer Graduate Programs in -

• Cross Categorical with a learning disability emphasis
• Professional Development
• Autism certificate
• Transition Certificate
