Whitewater is inviting business and educational leaders from around the region to give us an external perspective on how we might better prepare our students for their careers. The meeting lasts approximately 2 hours and is followed by a luncheon. The goals of each meeting are:
- Describe the current status and future goals of our physics department.
- Discuss efforts to implement suggestions from last year
- Listen to your expectations regarding the preparation of students graduating from UW-Whitewater in physics.
- Solicit ideas regarding the improvement of our program.
Our department has five faculty and approximately 50 physics majors. We draw the majority of our students from southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. If you are interested in participating on this Advisory Council, please email or call me at (262) 472-5766. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
