rental forms -- Due on Nov. 24th by noon

purchase forms -- Due on Nov. 24th by noon
3. Major/minor
review -- Rybski and Benjamin will work with Institutional Researcher Dr. Chen
to bring departmental and university majors counts into agreement.
4. Program
Assistant Lynn Miller is the principal clearing house for all announcements of
absences and will be the Reviewer of Absence Statements. Please make certain that you keep her
informed of intended absences and intended collegial coverages. In Ms. Milleršs absence, a note documenting
your absence should be left on her answering machine and Associate Dean Mary
Pinkerton (472-1712) should be contacted.
In Mary Pinkertonšs absence, contact Jody Marquardt at 472-1620.

Business
A. The
Self-Study Process -- Due by February 1, 2005.
B. Course
rotation realignment -- Discussion of breaking senior seminar into two separate
courses, each of one unit (credit), the first in Fall, the second in Spring.
V. New
Business
A. Mechanics
Courses -- Two separate mechanics courses, one on statics and one on
dynamics,should be designed to meet the needs of both our physics and the
engineering emphases. Discussion
of types, mathematical prerequisites and textbooks ensued. Constantinescu will submit a course
proposal for the new physics statics course as soon as possible.
Motion to adjourn from Chulick/Sahyun. Motion passed on voice vote. Meeting adjourned
at 3:34 p.m.
