Technology Skills
You will be expected to have certain
technology skills at the beginning of the first class in the program.
The basic assumption on admission is that you have word processing skills.
Many of you may already have the additional skills listed below, but if
you do not, you are expected to gain them on your own or go through the
following modules by the second week of your first course. These will
be available to you as soon as your are accepted in the UWS-SLEC program.
Certain other modules will be required by specific courses.
Most of these modules will assume you
have access to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a
current
web browser (Netscape Composer 7.x or Internet Explorer 5.x).
