Technology Skills

You will be expected to have certain technology skills at the beginning of the first class in the program. The basic assumption on admission is that you have word processing skills. Many of you may already have the additional skills listed below, but if you do not, you are expected to gain them on your own or go through the following modules by the second week of your first course. These will be available to you as soon as your are accepted in the UWS-SLEC program. Certain other modules will be required by specific courses.

Most of these modules will assume you have access to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a current web browser (Netscape Composer 7.x or Internet Explorer 5.x).
