Class

Classes in this program are listed on the WebCT server at UW-Madison. (http://webct.wisc.edu).

To access one of the courses, you need to be registered. You will need an ID and Password. You should keep your ID and Password in a secure place that you can remember.

Don't forget to go over the Technology Modules thoroughly, especially the instructions for connecting through your Internet Service Provider to the state databases. Some providers are not recognized. This will slow down your start in a class.

You should also send your instructor a passport style photograph for inclusion in the class directory.

Each class can be expected to take approximately 12 hours of work per week. That is the equivalent of class attendance and homework in an on campus class. If you have not taken an online course before, it may take a week or two to adjust. Again, the Technology Modules will help.
