The University of Wisconsin System School Library Education Consortium
will operate on a "Home Institution," or "Home Campus"
model. Faculty at each participating institution will deliver courses.
However, as a student you will have no need to transfer these courses
from one campus to another. As you enter the program, you select one
of the campuses as your "Home."
This "Home Institution" will be the campus through which
you will register, and which will maintain your transcripts, provide
financial aid and library services, etc. This will be the campus that
assigns you an advisor, provides your supervised practicum experiences
and signs your license. This will also be the campus through which you
will pursue a graduate degree, if that is your choice. Regardless of
whether you seek a graduate degree or simply need to pursue coursework,
you will need to be admitted to the graduate college at your home institution.
Apply to your home institution for admission to the graduate college:

Once you have been admitted to the UWSSLEC program and admitted to
the graduate college of your home institution, you may enroll in one
of the program courses.
