Winther Counseling Lab - Free, Confidential, and Open to the Public

The Winther Counseling Lab is a suite of rooms consisting of two classrooms, four interview rooms, and an office/observation room located in Winther Hall 3002. All of these rooms have video cameras and microphones to allow for taping and observing all sessions. The Winther Counseling Lab will be utilized in a number of classes, but most especially in the practicum experience.

The Winther Counseling Lab Clinic, staffed by Counselor Education Masters students during their practicum, is committed to providing free and confidential and group counseling to UW-Whitewater students and community members. Supervision and consultation is provided by licensed Counselor Education Faculty.

Winther Counseling Services are also provided at our annex location on Thursday afternoons and evenings.

Appointments available Monday-Thursday from 9:00am-8:00pm. Summer hours are subject to change. The Counseling Lab is not available for emergency services.
