The Graduate Program in Communication Sciences
and Disorders
Why
you should consider attending UW-Whitewater
- 100% of
our masters graduates have found employment over the past five
years.
- Over the
past five years 98% of our masters students passed the Praxis
Exam (National Certification Exam) on the first attempt. The national
pass rate during this time was 76%.
- Our retention
rate for graduate students was 92% during the past five years.
- As a small
program you will have one to one interaction with the faculty.
In exit interviews, graduates have noted that this is one of the
program’s greatest strengths.
- While Whitewater
has the feel of a university community, it also has easy access
to Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago.
- We are near
a number of recreational sites that allow for camping, biking,
fishing, skiing, kayaking and canoeing.
- Parking is
easy and close to the Roseman building. No long hikes in January.
