K-12 ELL Mission Statement
“To engage ELLs in social and academic English language development and grade level curriculum and to empower them in their multicultural identities.”

SUMMARY OF PROJECT & TEAM GOALS:

Both elementary and secondary teams worked through a collaborative process to establish a District K-12 ELL Mission and Vision.  We restated our visions as goals and wrote an Action Plan:

• To collaborate with all stakeholders who share in the responsibility of educating ELLs; To improve instruction delivery for ELLs across the curriculum;
• To achieve assessment proficiency for ELLs;
• To promote a positive school climate which integrates and embraces learning opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds.
