Task

You are a middle school child going to school in 1941 living in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.  Your task is to create a diary of your experiences during the Japanesse attack on Pearl Harbor.  You need to select a USS Arizona Survivor from the list provided,  everyone should select a different person. This person will be your father who was part of the United States Navy or Marines.  In addition, to the diary you will work in groups of two or three to create a poster of a timeline or drawing and also complete a scavenger hunt on the history of Pearl Harbor.  After you have completed these exercises please write a reflection paper on what you learned during this unit.  Please view the process link for complete instructions.
