Creating a Diary

You are to create a diary of the events that took place during the attack on Pearl Harbor.  This diary should begin on December 6, 1941 and end on December 13, 1941.  The diary should include your experiences during this time period.  Please include explicit details of the events explaining what you did, your families reactions, what it looked like, and how this experience changed your life.  Use the resource link to find out information on the events of Pearl Harbor.  This diary should be made with a grocery bag for the cover and wrinkled pages for the inserts.  Bind it together with twine.  Remember this diary was written in 1941 so it should look old and worn.  Please be creative!

Creating and Presenting a Poster

You are to get into groups of two or three and create a poster which is either a picture of an event at Pearl Harbor or a timeline of the events that took place.  After you have completed this poster you are to present it to class.
