WSUW - 91.7 FM
WSUW has been broadcasting from the UW-Whitewater campus since 1966. We broadcast at a frequency of 91.7 megahertz on the FM dial with 1,500 watts of power. That is strong enough to be picked up in the surrounding areas of Whitewater such as Palmyra, Fort Atkinson, East Troy and Watertown.
The UW-Whitewater Forensics Team is a student organization that speaks competitively. They compete in 11 different Individual Events when they travel to tournaments across the Midwest. Benefits of being on the Forensics Team include: fun, increased confidence, enhanced public speaking skills.
Becoming a part of the team is easy and fun. Any student can join regardless of their previous speaking experience or major.
A student-run weekly newspaper published for the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and written and edited by students. The editorial staff is solely responsible for content and editorial policy. The Royal Purple is printed weekly during the school year with a circulation of 7,000 copies.
Cable 19, the campus television station, provides news, sports coverage, and original shows 24 hours a day. The on campus cable channel offers opportunities to present live news and sporting events, work in production, filming, editing, and several other aspects of television.

PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America)
In a highly competitive field such as public relations, experience beyond the classroom improves a student's chance of landing a job soon after graduation. Becoming a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) links you to the world's top society for students of public relations. PRSSA is part of the world's largest professional organization for the field, the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
As a member you may get involved in the society's national programs, gain exposure to professional development, leadership development, and educational and networking opportunities. The UW-Whitewater PRSSA Chapter always welcomes new members into its organization. As a member you will gain valuable experiences that go beyond the classroom, which will help you prepare for your future after graduation. In addition, your abilities will contribute to advance UW-Whitewater's Chapter of PRSSA!

Zeta Phi Eta is a National Professional Organization in the Communication Arts and Sciences.
