Fall 2005 Activities

The Management Department’s new undergraduate course, Social Responsibilities, is offered for the first time in fall 2005.

Professors William Dougan and Jon Werner participated at the Academy of Management annual conference in Hawaii. Yezdi Godiwalla presented papers at the Academy of Management annual conference in Miami, FL. Praveen Parboteeah participated in the British Academy of Management at Oxford, UK.

Peggy Anderson retired after 40 years with the University.

Tom Bramorski is on a one year sabbatical.

Manu Madan, along with Choton Basu, of the Global Business Resource Center for the college, are planning a travel study abroad to China in late spring 2006. This is the second travel abroad for the department. The first, also by Madan, was to Japan.

William Drago is planning for spring break 2006, a trip to Nottingham – Trent University, UK, for a special consulting course.
