Professors Russ Kashian and Yamin Ahmad have recently conducted a duration analysis, examining how long it takes for newly chartered savings bank to convert to publicly traded financial institutions. This study was possible through a grant from CUNA.
The department is pleased to announce that Professor Jeff Heinrich is the new department chair. In addition, we welcome two new lecturers to the department - Mr Benjamin Artz and Ms Sahar Bahmani.
We are sad to lose Professor Mark Skidmore, who has accepted an endowed chair position at Michigan State University. We wish the very best for him and his family and hopes that he will come visit us often.
