Portable Equipment
The following equipment is available for loan to College
of Education Faculty:
 Digital
Still Cameras They are available for use on and off campus.They vary from wide angle to telephoto and store hundreds of images. There is software supplied for each of these cameras to download the images to your computer. Tripods are also available for use with cameras.

Video Cameras
There are two Digital 8 (8mm videotapes) and four Panasonic (mini DV tapes) cameras available. They record in
an all digital format. Through
the camera's connectors, video and audio can be
transferred to a computer for editing without any loss of quality. Tripods are also available for use with cameras.

 Mobile
LCD Projectors
The projectors can be checked out by faculty members. They
can be hooked up to any MAC, PC, or VCR. They
are a lightweight solution for giving presentations
outside of Winther Hall.
Advance reservations are encouraged.

 Laptop
Computers There are a limited number of Macintosh and Windows laptops with wireless capability available. They're used with the LCD projectors (see above),
and can be kept for a few days. Off-campus and extended loans
(i.e. for a conference) will be granted based on availability
and schedule. Reservations are encouraged.

 SMART Board Kit This kit is needed in order to use the SMART Board in Winther 3004 and 3006. The SMART Board is an interactive whiteboard that can be used for conferences and presentations.
