Co-produced by the Theatre/Dance and Music departments and set to the libretto of Da Ponte, this witty opera demonstrates Mozart’s classic style. It tells of the experiences of a group of lovers as they spend a chaotic day in Count Almaviva’s palace facing infidelity, fake identities and love. Created as a sequel to The Barber of Seville, its twisted interweaving plots and hilarious acts have garnered admiration in the hearts of past and present audiences.
