Welcome from the Department Chair
UW-Whitewater has both undergraduate and graduate programs. Our undergraduate program is one of the largest in the state of Wisconsin and the upper Midwest—but that doesn’t mean we have big classes. All of our laboratory classes are capped at 20 students and all but two of our theory classes are capped at 30 students. We also offer a range of emphases targeted to most student interests: advertising, broadcast journalism, electronic media, international journalism, interpersonal communication, multimedia, organizational communication, print journalism and public relations.
