About the Program
The Department of Marketing in the UW-Whitewater College of Business
and Economics provides students with the opportunity to prepare
for a variety of business careers. As they move through their course
work, students will not only learn marketing concepts, but will
apply what they learn in areas such as selling, consumer behavior,
research, promotions, international marketing, product and service
policies, and distribution strategies.
By graduation, students will have had extensive experience in
writing business reports and in presenting their ideas formally.
The ethical responsibilities of business are an important component
of the marketing curriculum.
Accreditation
The College of Business and Economics is fully accredited by the
American Assembly of Colleges and Schools of Business. This accreditation
applies to both undergraduate and graduate programs.
